StoryWalk
From August 8 through August 22, the library will be sponsoring a StoryWalk!
A StoryWalk is an outdoor display of a picture book. It inspires families to do something together outdoors, centered around literacy. This activity is a creative way to combine movement and literacy! The book Don’t Eat Bees (Life Lessons from Chip the Dog), written by Dev Petty and illustrated by Mike Boldt, will be displayed in the store-front windows throughout many of our local businesses.
You can read the entire book by walking up and down two blocks of 2nd Street! Pick up a map at the library during normal hours, or out front when the library is closed, beginning August 8. The map will let you know where to begin and end the walk. Enjoy!!
